Female QD x Hose Barb Homebrew Quick Disconnect

These Stainless Steel QD’s can quickly connect and disconnect in a matter of seconds, and with enough practice this can be done with one hand!

It is more common for the Female QD to be fitted onto more movable brewery hardware, like into hose for example. This is due to the female QD’s internal socket not being exposed to the elements like the male QD’s portion is. This makes it more suited to being moved around alot. These Female Stainless Quick Connects have a hose shank and are typically fitted into 1/2″ Hose, but in home brew systems it is usually squashed into 3/8″ Silicone Tubing.

Even though this QD comes with a 1/2″ Hose Shank, the Internal Diameter is somewhat reduced to around 3/8″ making it suitable for low flow applications.
