KEYSTONE HOPS MEETING   Montgomeryville: Thursday, September 15, 7:00PM
The Keystone Hops are holding their monthly homebrew club meeting this Thursday, September 15 at our Montgomeryville store. This will mark the first informal club competition, which features Belgian Pale Ales. If you have a Belgian Pale Ale and you would like to compete, please let us know by replying to this email. The club meetings are open to all homebrewers and all beer styles, of course, whether or not you like to compete. So bring some homebrew and join in the fun!

WAR OF THE WORTS PLANNING SESSION   Montgomeryville: Thursday, September 15, 6:30PM
At 6:30PM this Thursday, just prior to the Keystone Hops meeting (see above), we will be holding a War of the Worts planning session. We will form the 2012 competition committee, with the intention of training a new Commander in Chief. Andy Hejl can continue in his current role this year, but is looking to step down as soon as a new Commander is ready to lead the charge. We will also need a Judge Coordinator, a Prize Coordinator and other volunteers. If you are interested in helping run the one of the largest and best homebrew competitions on the East Coast, please attend the planning session this Thursday (or reply to this email if you cannot make it).

MALT MADNESS: FINAL CALL FOR JUDGES   Saturday, September 24
The Lehigh Valley Homebrewers have received more than 600 entries for the 2011 Malt Madness homebrew competition, so they are going to need all the judging help they can get! The competition will take place at the Allentown Brew Works in Allentown, PA.

INTRODUCTION TO BREWING   Bethlehem: Tuesday, September 13, 6:30PM (TONIGHT!)
