Installing this secondary valve allows for easy creation and control of a whirlpool. Whirlpools help to separate hop trub and hot break proteins post boil. This version is a 1″/1.5″ tri-Clamp sanitary fitting.
Also available with a factory punched kettle. There are two options for hole placement on a factory punched kettle. 8″ left or right of the center of the linear flow valve on the G2 Kettles and 5″ from the bottom (this will work with electric kettles). Please make sure to specify in the comments what position you would like if purchasing in conjunction with an Anvil or Blichmann.
Not included but are required are a pump with fittings and hose.
