Inspired by Vermont’s second most famous IPA, this is a a bang-on clone of a beer. As a classic New England IPA, it focuses solely on two hops: the mystifying and enticing Mosaic and the tropical fruit explosion of Citra. Supporting the ridiculous level of late kettle and dry hops is a firm yet unobtrusive malt backbone. Focusing this beer’s flavor profile to a sharp point is the use of the Conan strain of yeast, with its stone fruit esters and strong attenuation.
