This Female Stainless Steel Quick Connect has a Male NPT thread so it will thread into any 1/2″ Female NPT threaded end. Usually the Female QD portion is installed onto portable or movable brewery parts, because while the male QD portion is exposed, the female QD portion’s internal parts are protected and it is therefore more durable when moving around!
