A very unique style of beer from Germany. Smokey with subtle sweetness and a faint hop aroma, Rauchbier’s are the pride of Bamberg’s beer scene, and have a cult following here in the US. Picture a beer with hints of campfire and you’re there! I don’t think it would pair well while sitting in front a campfire though. Isn’t it ironic? Don’t you think?
